1.  Wiley Benjamin HILL was born on 11 Feb 1881 in Purvis, Lamar, Mississippi, United States.13 He died on 16 Feb 1954 at the age of 73 in Purvis, Lamar, Mississippi, United States. He was buried on 17 Feb 1954 in Coal Town Cemetery, Lamar, Mississippi, United States.  Source: Personal knowledge of his son, Wiley Benjamin Hill,Jr./ Death Certificate and Forrest County, MS records in possession of same.

Wiley B. Hill, Sr. was Boiler fireman at lumber company and farmer.  The 1930 Census indicates that he was a fireman at the oil company where he worked in Pyote, Ward County, Texas.

[Note from Margaret Hill Harris: It amazes me that I never met this man; I was nearly 8 when he died, but I never really knew of his existence, till later on.  I remember that my Dad spoke of his father in loving terms and said that his dad used to bounce him on his knee.]

4, daughter of Samuel Richard TUCKER and Letha Ellen BISHOP, was born on 14 Dec 1887 in Acme, Jasper, Mississippi, United States.5 She was baptized into the LDS Church on 8 May 1898. She died on 10 Mar 1967 at the age of 79 in Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa County, Florida, United States. She was buried on 14 Mar 1967 in Old City Cemetery, Forrest County, Mississippi, United States. Eunice has Ancestral File Number 3P9S-CN. "Baptized in Lukeflupper, a little creek near my home in Jasper County." (Eunice Tucker).

Buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Hattiesburg.

Birthplace also described as Paulding, Jasper County, MS.

Letter to Eunice from her father, Samuel Richard Tucker, dated 11 Feb 1914, addressed to Mrs. Eunice Hill:  "Dear Daughter, yours to hand and am glad to hear from you and to know that all has went as well as it has with you and I sincierly hope that conditions may continue favorable and that much good may be the result....for rrom the same and when you left your ma continues to drag along and do her work and if any difference I am feeling a little stronger this morning, but the difficulty I have in swallowing some.....from Rosie for about a week she didn't know but they might move in to Hb"hattiesburg] this week when she wrote.  Best wishes and may the Lord Bless you all, Your father, S.R.T.

Dear Bennie.  Rec. your letter was great to hear from you.  Your Daddy & I were married at Collins, Miss., Covington Co., March 25th, 1939.  I heard him say his people came from SC.  He never did say where he was borned.  It must have been near Purvis.  I heard him speak of so many things he did while he was a child when John Hill was in the Navy? he came to see us a few times.  Also Mildred his sister.  We visited Lance & Sadie, your daddy spoke of John I.? Hill a Baptis Preacher when we were first married.  His sister Mrs. Conn subscribed for the Baptis Record in Wiley's have for several years.  It came once a month.  Reb. John Hill & Miss Louise Hill was in it the good things they were doing for the churches in one of the records she had a missionary worker.  If you could get in touch with them they might could give you lots.  My daughter was borned at Bogalusa, La.  May 15, 1930?, Washington Perish.  I was borned at Purvis Miss. Dec 25, 1891, Larmar Co.  Lawrence Hill and wife died about 2 years ago.  They are buried in Handaburo Cemetery.  Both ided with cancers.  I really missed them.  They loved me and your daddy so much.  My first husband, Esco Sullivan Warner was borned at Tyler town.  Miss.  Waltho County?  Sorry I can't find the date of birth but he was a few months older than I.  He died on Jan. 1st just before Annette was 5 years in May.  He is buried at Bastrof, La.  Where most all his people are buried.  Wish I could tell you more about your Daddy's people.  I sent you card.  Hope you get it.  Annette lives just a mile from us.  All are good to us.  Nice of you to get up the Hill Record.  Ans. soon.  Love to all, Mrs. Anna Hill.
