Is James P. HILL born 14 July 1870 or 1871, the husband of both Clevie Annie LASSETER (2nd spouse) and Lillian COOK, (1st spouse)?
Is James P. HILL the same person as “Pink” Hill, James Pinckley Hill, James Pinkerton Hill?
Is James P. Hill a medical doctor?
I have a family group sheet that indicates that James P. Hill married Clevie Annie Lasseter/LASSITER, on 3 Dec. 1902 in Pearl River County, Mississippi. James was age 31 at this time, so I think it possible that he had a previous marriage, (Lillian Cook). Clevie Annie Lassiter was age 17; her parents were noted on the marriage certificate, Mr. And Mrs. Robert F. Lassiter. There is also a research note from my dad, Ben W. Hill, Jr., that the tombstone in Old Poplarville Cemetery indicates both birth and death date. The death date is 31 Oct 1908.
The marriage record is Book 2, page 383, Pearl River, Mississippi, for Clevie and James.
Marriage to Lillian happened in Marion County, Mississippi. James was age 21 and Lillian Cook was age 18. Book 5, Page 187, Marion County, Mississippi.
“My” James P. Hill (on my database) was the son of William Thomas Jefferson Bass and Nancy Louisa Hill.
