Mama Hall gets a letter

Mailed 30 Oct 1966 from 513 Breard, Monroe, LA, 71201 to Mrs. Eunice Hall, 104 Cloverdale Rd., Fort Walton Beach, FL  32548.  Eunice Hall aka Eunice Hill aka Eunice Tucker receives a letter.
Dear Mrs Hall, I have been thinking of you so much lately, and I wonder why I can't hear from you, or your sister, Emma. I pray that you both are well. I'm so crippled up. My hands are swollen so bad, but I just had to “try” to write. I've been down about three months, don't go anywhere, except to the doctor. Is your sister with you? My son is back, over seas. Left in Aug., I sure hated to see him leave; he will be gone till '68. We are having some pretty weather. I know that we will have lots of bad rainy days, later. I can't hardly write. My fingers are stiff. Please write me when you feel like it, excuse this sorry writing. But, I think of you all often; I'll try to do better next time. Take care of yourself and remember I love you and your sister.

As ever, Mrs. E.L. Caldwell
